Regional Director of Resident Care

Regional Director of Resident Care (RN)
The Regional Director of Resident Care oversees the development and implementation of state-of-the-art clinical programs throughout Assisted Living communities in an assigned region. Responsible for planning organizing, developing, coordinating, directing and providing training and support for resident care in the region to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable quality assisted living services focused on maximizing residents’ individual capabilities in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to the Regional Director Operations.
Must have a minimum ASN degree from accredited college or university
Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment
Must have three (3) years demonstrated success as Nurse Manager in senior living
Must have 2 years multi-site experience
Must be willing and able to travel extensively to serve communities
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
Must be knowledgeable of procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to resident care in assisted living
Must have ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality Resident Care services
Educates and trains Resident Care Directors on a variety of topics to include clinical, staffing, electronic health records, problem-solving, and conflict management
Serves as an effective role model, maintaining an approachable leadership style
Assists with survey readiness and follow-up to ensure Plans of Correction (if any) are appropriately and timely completed
Assists with evaluations of Resident Care Directors
Maintains effective communication with corporate team members
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of standards of nursing practices and assisted living regulations.
Demonstrates skills regarding resident records and care plan documentation.
