I was born in Greenville, S.C., and raised by two very determined and hard-working parents. They instilled in me the value of a strong work ethic and integrity in all that I do and speak.
I am married to Misty Phillips James, and between the two of us, we have four children: three sons and one daughter, all of whom have graduated college and have successful careers. We are also proud parents to three fur babies: pugs Max, Chloe and Ollie.
I attended Gardner-Webb University, where I earned a B.A. in education. I also hold a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, and I’m working toward a doctorate in leadership from Liberty University.
I have worked in the senior housing sector for more than 15 years. Before that, I was a full-time minister, serving as pastor of three different churches over a 20-year span.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking – especially BBQ smoking and making homemade food for my dogs, which I cook every week. I also enjoy watching college football: GO GAMECOCKS!
I am thrilled to be part of this community, and I look forward to serving the residents and the staff of The Bridge at Hickory Woods.Join Our Team
