More PhotosForest Dumont has been working in the senior living industry for eight years. He started out during his senior year of high school as a server at Garden Plaza of Greenbriar Cove in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
After a year, he transitioned into the role of lead server, which he held for another year, before moving to The Bridge at Ooltewah, where he spent a year as the dining room supervisor and then two years as housekeeping supervisor/weekend manager. He also spent time as a sales associate at The Bridge at Ooltewah before returning to Greenbriar Cove as their sales director.
In his current role as executive director of The Bridge at Hickory Woods, Forest looks forward to finding unique ways to help the amazing associates who work there and the wonderful residents who call Hickory Woods home.
"To be successful so that I can help others is what inspires me,"" said Forest. "My goal is always to make those around me better and provide them the tools they need to succeed."
Originally from Michigan, Forest moved to Tennessee when he was 17 and earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in spring 2020.
In his free time, Forest pursues his latest pastime of golf, a sport he recently picked up after finishing college. He also enjoys playing ice hockey, which he has played since he was 4 years old. He currently plays in an adult recreational league. He’s a fan of other sports, too, especially rooting for the Michigan State Spartans in college football and basketball and following all of Detroit’s professional sports teams.
Forest lives with Sophie, his 8-year-old husky/border collie, who is incredibly active and keeps him outdoors a lot. And the exercise is good because it helps him work off his favorite food: pizza!
