Meet Our Executive Director

Terrie Gardner

I am currently the Executive Director of The Bridge at Sandpoint in beautiful Sandpoint Idaho. My previous role here as Resident Care Director for the past two years has allowed me to get to know our residents and their families very well. These relationships and interactions are at the heart of why I love The Bridge at Sandpoint.

Senior care has been my passion since the beginning of my career. I obtained my nursing license in 1984. My husband’s military career meant I had the opportunity to work in many states and experience many different types of health care settings. Everywhere I went, I sought out seniors and learned new ways to serve them.

In 2012, we moved permanently back home to Sandpoint and love the community. I believe senior care has been my passion for the past four decades because it is serving a population that deserves the highest level of respect and dignity. I continue to learn so much from our residents on what it means to be a leader, a kind human, and an honorable human.

My other passions include growing organic herbal teas, backpacking, kayaking and being with family. I currently live on a small farm with my husband of 38 years and my 86-year-old mother.
