Jack Waldroup has been with Century Park since January of 2019. Although he continues to serve as the community’s executive director, in 2020 he was promoted to area director of operations, one of two positions of its kind in Century Park.
Jack first got into senior care when he was working in a hospital. A friend suggested he transition over into long-term care, due to his passion for helping the elderly. He has worked in senior care for more than 10 years in various roles. He worked for Civitas Senior Living in Fort Worth, Texas, before stepping into his current position. Prior to that, he worked for Elmcroft Senior Living in Portland, Oregon.
Jack has served on several different committees over the years, including the Education Committee for the Alabama Assisted Living Association and as chairman for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the Mobile Bay Area. Most recently, he was elected vice president for District XII for the Florida Health Care Association.
"I am excited to welcome Jack to the Southeast Region of Century Park," said Shaleen Sorgen, regional director of operations. "Jack's wealth of knowledge and experience gathered in the senior housing industry over the last 10 years has prepared him for this role with Century Park. Having a passion of serving others and a drive for excellence, we can't wait to see the many lives that will be touched and changed under his leadership."
Originally from Pace, Florida, Jack earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Faulkner University and his master's in business administration with a healthcare management concentration from Columbia Southern University in 2020.Join Our Team
