Brad Norris
Meet Our Executive Director

Brad Norris

Brad Norris was raised on a farm in central Pennsylvania. For more than 35 years, he has worked in the field of human services, in a variety of settings that include inpatient and outpatient mental health care and substance abuse treatment.

Brad's passion for working in the human services industry has taken him from adventure-based wilderness settings to college campuses to county government to state correctional institutions. His myriad of experiences has brought Brad full circle to his one true passion: preference-based, person-directed living through Life Enrichment programming in an extended care setting.

Brad holds degrees from Penn State University in Arts and Science and psychology, as well as Activities Consultant Certification through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.

Brad is a Certified Cognitive Stimulation Instructor and an accredited "Train the Trainer for Dementia Care." He is also a licensed nursing home and personal care home administrator.

Brad currently serves as vice president for VOICE PA (the state affiliate of the National Pioneer Network). He has served on the organization’s mid-state leadership team since 2007 and its board of directors since 2014.

When he's not serving Pennsylvania elders, Brad can be found on his boat with his puppy Bella. Brad's credo is summed up by the Mayo Angelo quote "At the end of the day, people won't remember what you said or what you did, but they will remember how you made them feel."
