It all began when Frank chatted with occupational therapist, Sarah Zajic about music. Zajic, a proud "Swiftie," shared her love of Taylor Swift's songs and stories. That spark of connection inspired an idea: what if Remington Heights had its own fan club?
Soon after, the first Taylor Swift fan club meeting came to life with themed decorations, buttons, and residents wearing Swift-inspired colors. What began as a small idea quickly became a community event filled with energy and excitement.
Staff and residents have embraced the fun spirit of the fan club. "There's just so much positivity," says Activity Director Becky Schindler, who has served at Remington Heights for nearly two decades. "The energy, it's hopping around here!"
The club has become a way for residents to connect, share memories, and enjoy new experiences together. For many, the music and friendship have brought a fresh spark of joy to everyday life. It is a perfect example of how community and creativity thrive at any age.
